About Me

My name is Mikey Alexander, also known as MikeyDeBoi, and I’m an Emirati sim racing driver from Abu Dhabi, UAE, born on January 25. I've been passionate about motorsports from a young age, starting with casual gaming and transitioning to competitive sim racing.
Currently, I'm competing with 4X Racing (4XR), an established iRacing team that participates in endurance and sprint events. I’m constantly developing my skills, focusing on racecraft, strategy, and consistency, with the goal of climbing to the top levels of competitive racing.

My Sim Racing Journey

Motorsports has been a passion of mine from a young age, and my journey into sim racing began with a simple setup. I started with a Logitech G923, steadily honing my skills and upgrading my gear to push my limits. Now, equipped with a MOZA R5, I’ve significantly improved my performance, focusing on key areas like racecraft, precision driving, and strategic decision-making. Joining 4XRacing has been a pivotal step in my development, allowing me to compete in endurance and sprint events as I continue striving for excellence in the world of sim racing.

  • Secured first iRacing win after only 3 races.
  • Achieved top 5 finishes twice in solo iRacing endurance races.

  • Earned All Gold on both Standard and Masters in GT7’s Racing License.
  • 2nd place in debut Super Formula series on iRacing.

Career Goal(s)

My ultimate aim is to rise to the top of the sim racing world and consistently compete at the highest level. While I’m currently not investing as heavily as I could, I'm focused on progressing and honing my skills. 

My recent upgrade to the MOZA R5 has been a game-changer, after years of pushing the limits with my worn-out G923. I’m confident in my ability to become a competitive, clean driver, and I recognize that continuous learning and adapting are key to long-term success.

24 Hours of Nürburgring 2024 

Summary Of The Green Hell

I competed with the 4XRacing Orange team in the Nürburgring 24H race, starting from P39 out of 53. Despite a difficult qualifying session where our fastest driver was unavailable, the team quickly gained positions early in the race, navigating through incidents and crashes. I drove multiple stints, one during the early morning, climbing the grid with clean laps and consistent performance. A major turning point occurred when my internet connection dropped, but I managed to reconnect and maintain control, avoiding further crashes. In total, we gained 36 positions, finishing P3 after a grueling 24 hours. This was my debut iRacing Special Event, and achieving a podium finish was a proud moment. It was a testament to the entire team's adaptability and determination, with standout performances from all members.
